Please wear sturdy\, closed-toe shoes and bring snacks/beverages. All young birders must be accompanied by a responsible adult. \nAlong the way\, we will pay attention to multiple facets of nature. Although the walk is geared for kids\, EVERYONE is welcome to join the fun of discovery!

DESCRIPTION:October’s Monday Bird Outing will be held at Salem Lake on October 28th. Meet co-leaders Jean Chamberlain and Catherine Wandell in the parking lot by the Salem Lake Marina at 9:00 AM. We will look for any wintering birds\, as well as year round birds. We usually have a nice assortment of woodpeckers\, nuthatches\, and thrushes.
