SUMMARY:Second Saturday Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, November 8th\, 2025\, for the Second Saturday bird walk. We will enjoy both looking for Reynolda’s fall birds and taking a leisurely walk along the trails to learn about the history of Reynolda’s waterways. As we look for birds\, our trip leader\, Dave Zimmer\, will also share his research on the history of Reynolda’s natural and constructed waterways that support birds and habitat. Please meet trip leader Dave at Lake Katherine in front of the Reynolda Boat House at 9:00 AM.

DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for Monday\, November 24th for our Forsyth Audubon Monday Bird Walk at Quarry Park!  We will meet in the parking lot at 9:00 am. \nThis park has some nice forest edge for kinglets\, nuthatches\, yellow-rumped warblers\, and thrashers! The fields provide opportunities to see a variety of sparrows! Plus\, it is always cool to see the old quarry! \nDirections from their webpage:  “Quarry at the Grant Park is located at 1790 Quarry Road. Enter off Reynolds Park Road\, next to the tennis courts at the William R. Anderson Recreation Center and across from Reynolds Park Golf Course.”
