Second Saturday Bird Walk

Join Ryan Goodman and Kristin Giordano for the Second Saturday Bird Walk at Yadkin Memorial Park! This outing may involve a longer drive than usual, depending on where you’re coming from, but it’s well worth the trip. We’ll meet at 9:00 AM in the Marina parking lot (restrooms available) before setting out to scan Lake Hampton for overwintering waterfowl. From there, we’ll explore Deep Creek along a mostly gravel path with gentle, rolling hills. The walk will cover approximately two miles. Beginner birders, as always, are welcome, and loaner binoculars will be available!
