Second Saturday Bird Walk

Don’t monad-knock it until you’ve monad-tried it: join Katherine Tombs for a bird walk around Pilot Mountain’s peak! We will be meeting at the summit parking lot at 8:30 AM. We’ll plan to take the short jaunt to Little Pinnacle Overlook, and then take the .8 mile moderate Pilot Knob Trail that circumnavigates the pinnacle. It should be a good day for raptors, warblers, woodpeckers, and whatever other fun nature things we want to observe and enjoy.
As always, the suggestions of close-toed shoes, ample water, and adaptive hiking gear remain in place. All ages welcome. See you there!
