Monthly Meetings
Monthly Meetings occur on the fourth Tuesday evening September through May and are held at the activity building of Highland Presbyterian Church, 2381 NW Cloverdale St, Winston-Salem. The activity building is across the street from the sanctuary. (Use the doors off the parking lot). Social time starts at 6:30 PM and the program starts at 7:00 PM. Topics for programs include birds, nature, native plant landscaping, conservation, and nature photography. All visitors welcome!
Bird Walks
Bird Walks are held on the second Saturday and the fourth Monday of the month. A bird walk typically lasts one-and-half to two hours and is led by a veteran birder. Newcomers and beginning birders are encouraged to participate. These bird walks provide an excellent opportunity to learn how to identify birds and where to go locally to see them. See the calendar for details about locations and meeting times.
Young Birder Walks are held on the fourth Saturday of the month. These outings are geared to the younger set, but all are welcome to attend. All children must be accompanied by an adult. See calendar for details about locations and meeting times.
Monthly Dinners
Forsyth Audubon monthly dinners take place on the second Tuesday of each month, 6PM, at River Birch Lodge on Robinhood Road. Group reservations are under “Forsyth Audubon”. There is no formal program, just fun conversation about birds, nature, conservation or any topic of the day. Come for a drink and/or a meal. You can submit your RSVP using this link: https://forsythaudubon.org/dinner-reservations. To be fair to the restaurant, we release tables not occupied by 6:15, so please arrive promptly. All are welcome, including experienced birders, new birders, family and friends.
