Young Birders Outing

Join us for the March Young Birders Outing at Tanglewood Park! We will meet at 10:00 AM in the gravel parking lot across from Skilpot Lake/Shelter 3. We’ll focus on walking the Yadkin River Trail in order to see the nesting Great Blue Herons. Please remember that Tanglewood has a $2.00 park entrance fee.

The walk is geared for Young Birders, but EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to attend. Please wear sturdy shoes, perhaps waterproof or rubber boots if there has been rain, as the trail can be muddy. Snacks and beverages are a good idea. All young birders must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
